The Rajiv Gandhi Regional Museum of Natural History, Sawai Madhopur, or Rajiv Gandhi Natural Museum is located near the village of Ram Singhpura in Sawai Madhopur.
Which is located on Ranthambore National Park Road, 6 km from Sawai Madhopur. The Natural Regional Museum located in Sawai Madhopur is the fourth regional museum in the country, which displays plants, animals, and geology of the western region.

The foundation stone of the Rajiv Gandhi Natural Regional Museum was laid by the Honorable Vice President of India, Hamid Ansari in December 2007. And it was inaugurated on 1 March 2014 by the state’s Finance Minister Namo Narayan Meena.
Underlined by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, the museum is set to emerge as an important center for environmental education. And it makes people aware of the conservation of nature and natural resources in the country.

The Rajiv Gandhi Natural Regional Museum is spread over an area of 7.2 acres. This museum is elegantly designed and aims to create awareness about the diverse life on earth. It is the fourth such museum in the country after Mysore, Bhopal, and Bhubaneswar.
The Rajiv Gandhi Natural Regional Museum is a non-formal centre for creating awareness of people about nature and natural resources through exhibitions and educational activities.
Its purpose is to provide an understanding of the diversity of life on Earth and the conservation of nature and natural resources, illustrating the ecological interrelationship between plants and animals. Visually impaired students can feel the display of animals on campus.
The museum provides an additional activity for schools and promotes environmental awareness.

This museum is three-storied, in which the first floor has been opened to the biodiversity of Rajasthan or the forest and wildlife of Rajasthan. Ranthambore and the famous Ranthambore Fort have a well-kept exhibition on wildlife. The major attraction is the lively village scene of tiger/leopard/blackbuck/sambar deer / spotted deer etc.
and other major attractions here are a prominent picture of Ranthambore Fort. The main visitor attractions are the faces of animals such as chinkara (gazelle), leopard, lion, and tiger.
Bishnoi community and the village of Rajasthan rural area are Diyram. The painting and black pottery hall are on the first floor of the museum, where one can enjoy paintings and pottery made by the local artist.

The main museum has a library in front of the reception area, it has about 10,000 books on wildlife and nature; Visitors can pick up any book to read for free. Also, photography and videography have been kept free. Where visitors can read books on the wildlife of western India, and the biodiversity of Rajasthan.
An auditorium can seat 300 people. It is used for seminars and wildlife documentary presentations. Everyday documentaries on Ranthambhore and wildlife are shown in this museum. The museum aims to show the country’s natural heritage and history and to gain international recognition in successful years.
