A hill fort Kesroli located in the Alwar district of Rajasthan dates back to the 14th century. It was constructed during the reign of the Yaduvanshi Rajputs, who were believed to be the descendants of Lord Krishna.
This fort has been a witness to many historical battles. It was conquered by the Mughals, then the Jats and finally came under the rule of the Rajputs in the year 1775. The golden period of the Kesroli fort lasted from 1882 to 1934 under Ranawat Thakur Bhawani Singh.
Hillfort Kesroli was declared a heritage site by the Government of India due to its historical and architectural importance. In 2004, it was taken on lease by the fort Neemrana place Group of Hotels.

Built on top of a large rock, the fort has a spectacular design and layout. The fort is surrounded by a fortified wall with towers to watch over the soldiers. The verandahs of the fort are arched.
The main fort is made of granite with many pillars. The granite fort facilitates a serene atmosphere within the building. The fort is square in shape and has many large halls and rooms within it. The rooms have large windows. It can accommodate about 100 people.

Tariffs range from Rs. 3,000.00 to Rs. 14,000.00 depending on the type of room. During the offseason from April to August, room rates are further discounted.
